Netflix remorse. net∙flix re·morse (n.): The emotion felt upon receiving a Netflix selection that you have knowingly ordered because it seemed like something you should see. But when you open it, you’re like: “Damn, I don’t actually want to watch this fucker.” And then you keep it on the coffee table for a couple of weeks, trying to talk yourself into it. And 3 weeks later you give up and send it back.

    hey — i think i had station agent remorese at one point too. most often i get it from ordering cinematic classics when in in my heart of hearts i really want cheezy new releases like “my super ex girlfriend.” embarrassing, but true.
