what’s the secret, max?

i thought of this moment often in the past few days. not sure why. i didn’t know that there was a new wes anderson movie coming out soon. i was just thinking about it … thought i’d dust off the well-worn screenplay script in my bookcase, and scan and post it here. then this morning i found this article in today’s nypost:

THE LIFE EXOTIC — INSIDE THE ECCENTRIC, SLIGHTLY OBSESSIVE WORLD OF WES ANDERSON

isn’t that wacky? oh how i heart jason and wes. also i noticed a typo on the script — see where it says “mrs bloom”? it should be mister. not that it matters. its just interesting what you notice when you give things a second, third, and thirty-eighth look. i find that those who obsess over grammar and typos and stuff like that are often small-minded. as ralph so aptly stated: A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds.
